Angel Eye problems
Wondering if you guys can help me out with this.
I am looking to change out my stock yellow angel eye bulbs for some bright White bulbs and i bought the angel eye kit from E92-Lighting and once I received the product the installer told me that the bulbs are LED and would not work properly with the headlight housing. They would light up but since the replacement is an LED it would send a signal to my ECU to replace the bulb. When he showed me the bulb that I would need to replace it looked simply like a H7 replacement. Is this true? I thought we needed to buy the LED replacements. |

did you install the kit already? most led kits come with a driver pack which prevents errors

thanks guys...there probably is a post here somewhere, but is it possible if someone could point me in the right direction to a DIY site with pictures?
For an E92 M3 as well not just an E92 post. |

There are plenty of pictures of the AngeliBrights that we have installed over the past years in this thread: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=250249 |

that wasn't very fair
you pick the worst colour of GP and compare it to the lux how about a 7500 or 8500K GP Vs Lux?

and in terms of value, they are pretty good and if you pick the correct colour (8500K), it doesn't look too different than the LUX i have the lux, and i have used GPs and HIDs yes the lux looks the nicest but is it more than 10 times nicer? because it costs more than 10 times the GPs

But I do have Alpine HIDs and <3 them. and I didn't pay 10x the price of GPs GP Thunders are easy to install, but LEDs aren't difficult either. I remember I had RE LEDs (i think that's what they were called), and they were easy to install I won't lie dude, your GP thunders look WAY better than the sets i used to have I had a couple different GP Thunder sets on my 335i, none looked as sick as yours!

I have lux ae's....recently just had my bro code gp thunders + increased voltage for comparison and curiosity, and while they weren't as bright as lux's they were good enough for me to say if I didn't have the lux's I would have stayed with the gp thunder + coding set up...

I didn't know that stuff was free... Everyone here charges an arm and a leg for coding... Hook a brother up! And kmarei that pic looks nothing like GP thunders (unless it's coded to be brighter) because I had them before and my friend has them on his 335i and they are nowhere near that bright.

the cable/equipment to code can be pretty inexpensive to purchase from ebay and all instructions can be found on the site I am not allowed to mention. Also, most do charge outrageous prices for coding which IMO is unfair and down right dishonest when most of them are getting their info from that website where info is shared and posted for free, my brother fortunately does not and I get the family discount. on that other forum there is a regional section as well so maybe you can find someone local to you that can help you out...GL btw: pics of gp thunders for sure look brighter than they are in person, but that can eb said about most posted pics of most lighting mods
