Folding mirrors

Just a quick question on the auto folding mirrors. Does your driver side mirror take longer to fold in and out than your passenger mirror or is that just my coupe?

It may be because of the tilt down mechanism on the right one that alters the time each takes. Mine does the same.

Correct, since the mirror returns to posistion before folding in causing the delay. I was paranoid when I noticed it the first time but have grown just to overlook it.

I wish they had given us mirrors that fold with locking and unlocking though I mean you can get that feature on a Toyota for crying out loud!

just too lazy sometime lol I just don't see why they don't let it come standard, since it has the capability though.

Did you have it done in Va on your previous car or did you get remote coding? Does anyone know if OneBadMoFo is still offering free remote coding?

Yup mine does it as well. I thought it had something to do with the reason why my drivers mirror housing was misaligned but see now that's it's unrelated.

So the passenger mirror has the tilt down mechanism, but the driver side takes longer to fold in?

I have the same misalignment as well on the driver side. I would be interested to know if anyone has ever got this fixed and how.

I just searched for a few minutes but couldnt find it. There is a thread that talks about the misalignment on the mirrors. I think they had a solution on it. Sorry I couldnt find it, but I know it is here somewhere...
