HELP pls.....tire size help yes or no

I have a e92 ESS 625 supercharged, getting a 4.1 diff so i rely need wide tyres will a 295/30/19 on zcp wheels rub.I have no spaces and i have eibach springs and if im going to rub how can i fix the problem

It sounds like it will, or is very close to, rubbing especially if your car has been lowered. It also will depend on which brand of tire you use - one with a square shoulder (AD08) will probably rub more than one with a rounded shoulder (PSS). Without buying new wheels with a different offset there really isn't much you can do, although if the rubbing is minor then the problem will fix itself after driving your car for a few miles.

If you are looking for more traction why not consider tires from the "extreme" performance category rather than the "max" performance category? Also wider is not always better because in some cases you may end up with less tire making contact with the road. Personally, I'd probably try an "extreme" performance 285 mm tire on a 10" wide rim over a "max" performance 295 mm tire mounted on the same rim.

Roll the fenders and go with 315's.

A 625 kit and a 4.10 diff will be brutal.

has anyone tried the bridestone re11 285/35/19 i rely wanted to go 195 but im still not sure if its going to rub. don't want to waste money on tires that will rub

User "4sevens.com" has 295/30s on the rear of his E90 ZCP, and stated that there was slight rubbing at full compression when he first installed them but it has since stopped. I had started the thread linked above to see if anybody has done 295/30 PSS's on an E92 yet, but it doesn't sound like anybody has (or they're not a forum member). Once my stock Pirellis wear out on my E92 I'm likely going to switch to a 275/30 and 295/30 PSS combo to see how it drives.

The PSS does have a shoulder that's more square than the PS2 but not nearly as square as the AD08.

Yep, with only slight rubbing you'll quickly wear down the fender liner interference and then the rubbing will stop.

i decided to go with the re11 285/3519 iv heard that there a better summer tire then the super sport as they are a max performance category.
the only thing is that its impossible to get them here in australia in my size dose anyone know were i could buy them from the states or any were else

or

I would go with the 295 tire. You have a E92 and they have a tad more room in the back than the E90.

More rubber on the ground means more traction, so if you're just looking for straight line performance then go as wide as possible. What's left to be understood (by me at least) is how handling is affected by moving to wider tires.
