Winter 19" setup
Hi Guys,
So I've checked tirerack and they only tire in 245/35/19 is this Pirelli SotoZero: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...35&diameter=19 The back 265/35/19 is also available in the same tire: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...35&diameter=19 What are you guys running in the winter with 19" rims? Staggered or non? Thanks, Andy |

I'm running 255/35 front and 265/35 rear Bridgestone LM-60. Some run a 235 front but I was worried about sidewall height in winter. Also, some run 275 rears but I would be worried about snow traction... so, 255/265 was a middle of the road compromise. I find it works well so far in cold, wet weather. No snow yet so I can't comment on that.

I too run a staggered winter setup. 235/35 and 255/35 Dunlop SP Wintersport 3Ds. Working well thus far, but no real snow driving yet.

I have the stock 18s with 245 f and 265 r (oem sizes) and I am actually really surprised by how stretched the oem tires are from the factory. I think it is due to the euro TUV snow chain regulations. They know people are going to replace the oem tires with wider ones.

255/35R19 F and 275/35R19 R is what most are doing on stock 19" wheels ZCP or regular. Some do 235F 255R, but they will look stretched.

Was running a sqaure 255 setup on Wintersport 3D's, but was forced to get 235 for the fronts when both fronts got a bubble from potholes last year. Only size left for the Blizzak's. 255 Wintersport 3D on the rear still. Not ideal, but can't justify throwing away 2 good rear tires.

I run 235/255 staggered on VMR 19's as my winters, pretty sure they're blizzaks. Love em in the snow, the only limiting factor is clearance. Adds a whole new dynamic to driving the car... Love it :happyanim
