i cannot imagine how sc m3 pull. i got to drive my bros NA m3 today and its so much fun. love the high revving NA power as opposed to my 335

Thanks Drew! Your dead on....yeah our DA numbers made it very attractive to run. I'm already talking to Roman regarding the 625 kit. That plus some other goodies are on the plate for the winter build.

Your right, LC on street tires with blowers is useless. Our best launches were obtained by using MDM mode and flooring the pedal. It puts it into a mini launch mode. Basically revs to about 3500 and dumps the clutch. We tried no LC but because of the temps it was too dangerous. My one trap at 125 was with no TC and easing into the pedal off the line (60ft suffers). The 11.6 @122 was after they cleaned the track up. MDM and floor it.

great launch method...didnt even think of using MDM and just stepping on it.....going to give it a shot next time out!

it works amazing as long you warm the tires up.Ill post a videos of some of the runs i got on go pro.

Rick - the first video i posted showing the 11.6 run was using that method. You can hear how strong the car launched (approx 3500). All the rest was easing into it. Its very difficult to get under 2.0 in your 60 ft w/o using LC or this method.

When did the DCT start coming on the 535? I recall the DCT being available on the M3, 335is, the newer 135i, and the Z4 sdrive35is but not on the 535i.

I believe he was referencing the 535hp supercharger kit not the 535 car.
