Will your son ever bring home your first M3?

I've never seen a sweeter story then this about a car ===> Don't miss it

To have children like this oh man, will it be some day your first M3?.

I saw that commercial and have had similar plans to do that for my dad someday with his departed 1966 GTO.

Wow, that's some love. I bet the father feels better that his son would do something like this than he does about getting the car.

Dex, thanks for this, I know the feeling we still have our first new BMW it will turn 25 years next year Like in the video the memories of our 535is are unforgettable the car has taken us from coast to coast of this wonderful part of the world. We keep restoring her and I think we never ever sell her.

No worries, quite a few of us shed a tear or two it is a touching story. I had it first posted way back in the "Off-Topic Discussions Board" section of this fine forum and felt it deserved a better spot so I also posted it here so others might see it as well.

I'm glad the Moderator has not moved or deleted it (so far ... touch wood).

i wonder if some of us will ever enjoy a car as much as that man in that video.

We're all obsessed with the latest and greatest unfortunately..

When I find that car though, i will keep it.

Great videos, that is the bond of a true auto enthusiast that some people can never understand. Its more than just a car to get from point A to B, its the emotions or memories that are invoked when we are with them.

Our dad had a Mercedes, the Nazis took it away from him for the then so called war effort. It was a sad day back then.

I'm fortunate to see my first BMW (e28 assembled in 1987 it is a 535is ~ just a step below the then M5 both my daughter and I keep her fit with normal replacement parts, fenders bumpers etc. she still looks in great shape for her almost 25 years) here and then when our daughter comes to visit us I think I found the one that will be a keeper for me now (having gone thru 4 other BMW's in just 2 years) in my now e92 my first new one since 1999. I guess I'm luckey on two counts

Yes quite some story ... it took 5 years to find it and in the end it was so very simple.
