New appreciation of my Akra exhaust

I had never heard my exhaust from outside the car until last week when a tech drove past me in it on the way to the garage. Sure, I'd heard the exhaust from inside the car many times with the windows open, but after hearing it from a bystander's viewpoint, I now have a whole new level of appreciation.

nice. I need to hear mine too lol so far I've been in the same spot listening it from the inside. Sounds good though with no drone. I guess the extra money is well worth it!

Ha ha, I know what you mean. When I had my last service done I sat outside and waited for the tech to start it up so I could hear it. I was really suprised at how good it sounded from the outside. He drove it into the service center and gave it a few revs...all the techs came over and started checking it out. I was even more happy because the place that services my M3 is Kohl BMW in Aachen, Germany, and AC Schnitzer has their HQ there, and to have them get excited over the Akra when they have all the AC cars there seemed pretty cool.

I felt the same way the first time I heard someone driving my car with the Eisenmann Race.

Not only was it MUCH louder than I thought it was, it was absolutely intoxicating. WHOLE NEW appreciation.

My M3 is for sale here
