The only thing stopping me from buying one, was they only came in LHD, so for me it would be pefect

I love them too, perhaps I should convert my e28 to a e28 M - all except the engine of course

Driving the E30 M3 (non-evo) is such a different experience than any of the modern ///M cars. It's a great change up, especially coming out of the E39 M5.

I totally agree with you, I still love driving our former e28. Only now I have to ask my daughter "May I have your car for a day?"

and why not I still pay for the upkeep

I'm sure you saw our e28 in my garage.
