Wow!! Ordered the mini harness yesterday, received and installed today. Thanks HMS!
Install was easy. For the front seat, I don't have the forward torx bolt, so used the bolt under the seat side bolster, rear in the pics above.
That was a 13mm.
Rear is a T50.
They fit perfectly, just like stock, with plenty of adjustment.

My only concern is that the damn m3 seats don't sit very low, and the lower straps seems to sit a bit higher than desired. I'm sure I can adjust though.

There is no reason it can't be sold as an m3 product.
Unless I die and we all find out otherwise. Lol

Don't do that! Then we'd be back at square one trying to find a harness.

Oh...we'd send our condolences of course.

Fix't.

We'd be cool again and the envy of all of M3dom once more!

Leo, any reason why you didn't attach to the T50 bolt at the head of the belt guide rod on the floor just behind the driver's seat?

I looked for a floor connection point (not much value in using the seat as one from a safety standpoint) but the only one I saw was on the slider, and I would have had to to bend the bracket. I'll pop the belt guide cover off and see if it will work. The straps have enough lengt to reach.

In coupes, that is the suggested attachment point for the fixed harnesses, and the bracket on the harness is meant to be bent to line up with the tension in the harness belt.

Track report from VIR...

This is it guys, no issues at all in 2 days at VIR, it's what I've been waiting for. I've noticed it's more effective in combination with the inflatable bolsters. My harness searching days are finally over, and at a modest price too.

The only modification I'll make is to create a little leather sheath for the driver side seat strap, whose metal bracket is a bit too close to the upper seat bolsters. So to avoid any possible rubbing issues, I'll essentially wrap it in a bit of padded leather. I'll post pics as soon as I'm done with it.

My personal note about fitting and tightening - when adjusting the shoulder straps, take care not to pull up on the lap section, otherwise it can ride too high and - my guess - lose effectiveness (as well as being damn uncomfortable).

Great report - glad it worked out! Mine arrived today but I have no car to install it into. Service appointment took longer than anticipated so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to do the install.

You have to get the lap belts tight and low so the lap belt is flat, not vertical. Then it wont ride up your chest when you tighten down the shoulder harnesses.

Once you guys have pics, start a new thread so it's easier to find later.

not sure im comfortable with that. it looks like it will place the strap at an odd angle, and interfere with seat sliding. if i can get the seatbelt slider to work, ill try that

The directions show that you need to bend the ends. I did on mine. You just can't keep re-bending.
