The needs of a NA motor and FI motor are very different. An NA
motor wants a higher lift cam and not so much duration, but a FI
motor wants a little less lift and more duration. All of the
aftermarket cams you see are for NA applications, and the experts
I've spoken with, think it's a mistake to use any of those cams on
a FI S65 motor.

Of course with any of these cams, you'd want some higher
performance valve springs as well.

PencilGeek did all the research on this and sourced the valve
springs. He gave the source to Dinan and RD Sport. So you can go
to either of those companies and get the improved valve springs.

PG also has a custom cam design for an S65 FI motor. He says the
design comes from a pretty famous race engine designer. The NA
cams have about 1-1.2mm more lift than stock as I remember, and
not quite so much duration as PG's custom FI cam.

But assuming you do go with FI and cams, whose going to tune it?
That will be your next challenge. I'm not a big believer in these
"custom tunes" for NA applications, but this is a case where it
will be required...and whose going to do it for you? AJ@ESS is
the only guy I would trust to do this. But you'd have to ask him
if he has the time to take on another special project like this.

Forget the cams and save the money for a low compression build. More power and reliability just a thought

so now I have a lower compression built on my car for almost 6 months now.

I guess the only options for me are cams or valves

Why would you get cams and have to mess with the tuning if you are going wtih a 6supercharger? Your power is not limited by the stock cams. WIth the right cooling and the supercharger kit, you can push 650hp or more so not sure what you would want cams on top of that for. It would only screw up the tune that is already tried and proved for these chargers.

Your points are valid, but one never knows. Perhaps he has an unlimited budget...just as an example.

The cams being offered by Schrick are for a NA application. You would need custom bumpsticks to take advantage of the S/C.
