Thanks, Dackleone, for taking the time to share your pictures and write about your experience!

Hard to pick a favorite. I think the yellow '79 323i is up there (pristine, 1 owner for over 30 years, and because yellow). I also like the E30 M3 with only 2,448 miles--except it's kind of sad that car has been driven so few miles after all these years.

My forthcoming 1M will be a 1-owner car for as long as I live (at least it will stay in the family), and it will see a lot more miles than the E30 M3 at the auction...

The beautiful 323i is probably Golfgelb (color code 070) since it is a pre-facelift car. The E21s were produced in both Golfgelb and Koronagelb (colorcode 148), with the Korona being delivered on the facelift cars from september 1979.

Thank you. I'm huge E21-fan, and have been that since the cars were new so I have gathered quite a lot of knowledge about them.

You could have a look at mine here .

I really do not know much about this boat or its name. I did a quick search on google and see that a Fata Morgana is a (special kind of a) mirage.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fata_Morgana_(mirage)

I did find this on the web.. This power boat was one of only two ever built! And is the last known example!

A rare 1958 BMW Abbate V8 speedboat overflowing with Dolce Vita style has been added to the lineup at Bonhams’ “Power by BMW” sale in Munich this fall.
One of only two ever made, the rare runabout is expected to fetch up to about $350,000.
Racing driver and engineer Helm Gloeckler first had the idea to use a BMW engine to power a stylish speedboat in the 1950s.
A rare 1958 Abbate mahogany speedboat powered by a BMW V8 the engine from a BMW 507
A keen powerboat driver and water skier, he decided the combination of an ultra-light BMW all aluminum V8 engine and an elegant Italian mahogany runabout would be unbeatable.
Gloeckler partnered with Giulio Abbate, a member of one of Italy’s most famous boat building families on the craft.
They converted a specially-tuned tuned engine from a BMW 507 to propel the high performance vessel, which became an admired show-piece for BMW technology.
Think of it as an Italian supermodel with a German brain….

That's an m-tech kit, maybe a factory m sport package, with a popular racing mesh style wheel. Not everyone is a poser.
