Been finding excuses to go out to drive more often lately ever since getting the ride. Mostly to McDonald's drive thru. Anyone tried their new ice coffee, it is very addicting!

Where do you guys usually end up when going out for a drive?

Being downtown you're limited to potholes, more potholes and if you're lucky, only streetcar tracks.

I try to take the Rosedale Rd - Bayview extension with a spin up Pottery road, but there's always the usual speed track to contend with.

I have my coffee at home, wife being German and all has her special mix

Quick question. I'm getting my windows tinted to 30% but of course the dealership doesn't do the front windscreen. Is yours done? If not how does it look with all the others tinted?

On my first M3 I had the windows tinted (side and back). It was a light tint they call it 35% (I'm not 100% sure of that). It is against the law to tint the front window.

I recommend you check your local law as well before you have it done. I hate to see you get a ticket and then have to remove it again.

Google "Automobile Window Tint Requirements Laws"

There is plenty of info and guidelines out there. Better be safe then sorry!

Any of you brave M3 drivers gone for a trip as of late?

I went with a friend to the Henry Ford Museum, then on to The Corvette factory and museum down in Bowling Green Kentucky a few weeks back. We had a great time.

BTW my friend is a Corvette driver (he has two of them among other cars) he loved driving my M3 had a smile on his face each time I let him drive for a spell

If you care to see some photos click below ... if you should ever go to the Corvette factory tour I highly recommend the VIP tour, of course cameras are not alowed in the factory.
