Cool New Owner - 2009 AW E90 M3 6mt

I just closed the deal on an 09 m3. It's an AW m3 with 17xxx miles, and id like to think I got a pretty good deal on it.

It doesnt have a lot of options, only powered speed cloth seats, oem 19s and the cold weather package.

I bought the car from a bmw dealer in chicago, and it should be delivered to me either thursday or friday of next week.

Cant wait!

I am going to buy a zhp shift knob, painted reflectors and bmw performance shadow chrome (if they exist for the e90) grills to start.

I will be sure to get some pics up as soon as it comes in!

Glad to be an e90 owner!

ive wanted an AW bmw for years, ever since my dad had his old school (e34?) 2001 740 in Alpine White.

I also just ordered AW painted reflectors and a BMC filter to throw in the stock airbox.

Glad to see a fellow Houstonian. Make sure and check out Houstonperformancedriving.com if you aren't already a member. They are tied in with Cars and Coffee and they will setup cruises to Galveston and lots of track days. Mostly high end american muscle (Ford GTs, cobras, zo6s) but there is a nice little euro section some really nice m3's and 911TTs.

Congrats! Man people seem to be picking up used e90/92 M3s like they are going out of style. I remember this happening with the e46 when leases and warranty periods started coming to an end. At least you don't have to worry about a break in period. If followed it's very painful.

thanks man. yeah i got a really nice price on this badboy, basically 20k under what I spec'd out a new one at (only zcp, leather as options).

I was really happy to find one in AW with this low of miles.

I got a call from the dealer today. The car has been shipped and is estimated to arrive either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.

I am counting on Thursday, but hoping for Wednesday lol
