Active Autowerke 1,000 HP E46 M3 Turbo Project Complete

Sorry Mods, not sure if this is the right section. Please move if necessary. Just wanted to share with the members.

Over the past a couple of months we have been working on a E46 M3 Turbo Project. We were able to finish up the car last week and have it shipped over to Los Angeles for Bimmerfest.

We did a complete build from bottom up and we exceeded our goals.

The owner of the car is one of our board members Vik a.k.a TazaM3.

I want to first of thank everyone who helped in the project and a special thanks to a couple of our staff members who worked in overdrive to make this happen, Barry Elton ( Special Thanks ) , Lance Ho Lung, and Yirot.

The car made 836-838 RWHP in 92 Degree plus weather!!!

Here is a list of the mods followed by pictures and a video. Enjoy. See you all at Bimmerfest 2007.

Please don't do this to my car !

Nobody said you couldn't tune the 335i. But this and the AA/XEde is a little different story.

BTW, the M3 seems to be a bit rough in idling

Congratulations !

Cheers

We were just implying that we are more than capable of tuning any BMW especially one that came turbo from the factory.

This car is running a complete AEM Standalone ECU. We are the only company that has that for an E46 M3 right now. You cannot order that over the shelf.

Basically our tuners are a bit more advanced than "other".

p.s. Watch the video close.. the exhaust is loud but idle is rather smooth for 1,000 CC injectors and 1,000 HP.

It's great what you did. I have owned the E46 M3 , I never expected that it is possible what you have done.

Again, great.

Gorgeous set up and great numbers but someone must have really wanted to lay claim to fastest M3 on the street as that's not a cheap set up. I would have just started with a better building block if I wanted to go that fast.

"that will be on our level 2 along with vanos control"............... That was classic.

All jokes aside, it does have launch control, vanos control, and anti- lag. It is a complete AEM standalone with all the goodies.

Wow, impressive. How long will the drivetrain last, or did you also upgrade the gearbox etc.?

..with a custom harness so it is used as a piggy back technically. All factory controls still work.

Very impressive #'s!

However, we've all the heard the expression "you can never have enough power." I think in this case, that might not hold true. At the track with slicks, the car will be insanse. But on the street, I think the car is pretty much useless under 80 mph. Even then I think you'll have problems.

Sick car regardless.
