19" square setup offsets

I'm looking to get a set of 19" in a square setup for my winter rims. Can anyone tell me if 19"x8.5" et20 will work and what size tire would be the best?

I believe you could use either 245/35 or 255/35.

Do anyone know how the rims would look on the car? Protruding too much inside or outside? I want to get a set of rims farily quickly before the winter tire rush starts so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rims will stick out a bit... so you are much more prone to curb-rash. I was running 45 in the front and 55 in the back and hated the way it looked. Obviously a narrower tire is better in the snow, but I'll be rocking 255 in the front and 275 in the back.

I don’t know which wheels you currently have on the car, but you can easily calculate the difference in offset and wheel width and determine the exact location of the outer edge. That should give you a reasonable mental picture of it.

I have the stock 19" rims. I'm not sure of the offset or widths as I literally just purchased this M3 and there is a lot of information that I'm taking in right now. Normally I would do a lot of research but this deal came up and couldn't pass on it. I wasn't even looking to get a M3 LOL

So just for anyone that wants to ask this question again in the future the fronts will fit but the rears will sit 6mm further in then the OEM wheel.

Correct. We also have 19x8.5" ET 15mm so it sits almost as the stock wheels.
