Riiiiight! You can tell the military guys in the crowd. They are the ones with the dreads, the unshaven (that would be the women) vacant look, incomprehensible signs, etc. Saw it on the interwebs, it must be true!

I can't view the video, but all I can say is it is against military regulations to participate in political protests while representing the services in any form (i.e. wearing a uniform, holding a sign saying you're in the service, etc). You can protest, but you're not permitted to identify yourself as a member of the service. Now if someone can look at you and tell (by your haircut, bearing, what-have-you) then that is not your fault (and can generally be labeled an assumption).

Looks like he did his time and got out. What Templar said above is 100% true. As a military member you can participate in protests, but you cant identify yourself as such. I applaud him for standing up in what he believes in, but if he is still serving he can get into deep trouble for his actions.
