Cool CLP Unveils 592HP Widebody M3 GT Interceptor

CLP Unveils 592HP Widebody M3 GT Interceptor

COMMENTS

German tuning company, CLP Automotive, has unveiled its BMW M3 GT Interceptor, based off the M3 GTS. The CLP M3 GT features upgrades all around - aerodynamics, power, and handling.

The M3 GT Interceptor features a widebody kit with carbon fiber front bumper, hood, fenders with brake cooling vents, sideskirts, widened quarter panels/fenders, rear bumper, and high spoiler. The CLP Interceptor widebody kit alone is priced at 8,880 EUR.

To match its new go-faster look, the CLP M3 GT gets extra power via a G-power supercharger and Akrapovic lightweight titanium exhaust system, together which develop 592 HP. The CLP BMW M3 GT sits on 9x19(F) and 12x19(R) inch light alloy race wheels with central locking, and a bespoke Bilstein race suspension.

The interior features Recaro race seats, roll cage, and G-power dials.

Total cost of the tuning program/upgrades? €69,000.

Looks rubbish in my opinion.. the M3 GT race car looks fantastic, but that is built with different proportions to the road car.. this just looks clumsy.

Also, if you are going to tune an M3 to this level, why ruin a GTS.. why not just start with a standard car?

Pretty retarded IMO. another GTS bites the dust.

Wide Body Kit-8,880 EUR

so
G-power supercharger
Akrapovic exhaust system
light alloy race wheels with central locking
Bilstein race suspension
Recaro race seats
roll cage
G-power dials
make up the rest of the 69,000 EURO.

...something doesn't add up.

I like the way it looks especially compared to the Vorsteiner WB kit, though they should have painted the supercharger and intake plenum to match the color scheme of the car.
