Catback exhaust advice...AA, Borla or Magnaflow

Having had an Active Autowerke exhaust on my E36 M3, I was pretty sure I'd do the same on my E92, but from the sound clips I've heard, I really like the Borla and the Magnaflow too. Anyone heard some or all of these (catback only) and have some advice about the sound quality...specifically regarding drone?

AA will give you the least drone of the 3 b/c of the resonance chambers. Personally, spending thousands on an exhaust is ridiculous. I bought everything used for 2k total. Gintani Xpipe with HFC's and Borla race mufflers. Sounds exotic with minimal drone. Was running straight pipes until this weekend. Catless is a little too extreme, IMO

i have the borla, and actually get compliments quite frequently..sound is pretty exotic, and I dont find it drones much at all...

I love my UUC Corsa and it fits your needs. I had it powdercoated ceramic satin black for $150.

Active has done a great job designing these exhaust systems, we have installed pretty much every system there is to offer for our clients, and I would say Active is in our top 3!!

Lots of compliments on the AA. A little drone at part throttle under 2,500 but incredibly rewarding at all other times.

If you're very concerned about drone, the BMW performance has none. It's also a little too quiet IMHO.

I actually picked up a used Magnaflow system that is currently on my M3. I really like it!!! Not only was I happy cause I got it very cheap, but it is super light!!! Definitly half the weight of the OEM exhaust... The sound is awesome, expecially on a freeway!!! It does drone a bit at 2-3000 but nothing super annoying!!! My car before my M3 was a Charger SRT8 that also had a Magnaflow exhaust system. That car droned like a mofo!!! So, I'm very happy with the Magnaflow system!!!! If it helps you, I'll make a video and try to post it....

Oh and I forgot that its stated an HP gain of 16.. Havent dyno'ed so I cant confirm....
