TEASER: New ADV.1 SEX

Hey guys,
I'm not really a fan of teasers myself, but I have my 2012 Melbourne Red e92 on order and I won't take PCD delivery until November 1st . So all I have is these teasers for now. I think I'm in love

Specs:
  • Brand: ADV.1 ADV10 TrakFunctions
  • Sizes: 20x9 fronts and 20x11 rears
  • Color: polished gunmetal faces and brushed gunmetal lips - ( I wasn't sure how that finish would turn out as it hasn't been done yet, but I'm extremely glad I did it) - I really love how the wheels look different in different lighting as seen in the pics.

I debated heavily between 19's and 20's and I think with a step lip, the 20's look the best, but if it was a monoblock wheel I definitely would have gone with 19's.

BIG BIG thanks to Jordan and Matt from ADV.1 Wheels for all the trouble I gave them and all my nagging. I HIGHLY recommend anyone interested in wheels to e-mail matt@adv1wheels.com and order a set.

On to the goodies (Take a look at those rear lips!! ):

Thanks for looking and look out for my project thread in November,
Matt

Good looking wheel. Do you happen to have a scale around?

yessssssss 20s the way to go! good stuff. The M3 comes with 19s already so whats the point plus when your wheels look this good, might as well fill the fenders with a little more of the gorgeous wheels. CAN'T WAIT to see them on the car!!!!

Thanks guys! I'm really really happy with how they came out.

I do, but I'm on vacation until the 4th and the wheels are actually waiting to ship to me until I get back home. Once I get them though, I definitely will weigh them and update the thread.

true... 20's are definitely the way to go with a step lip, but I definitely would have gone 19's if they were monoblock or even a flat, regular lip. and I CAN'T WAIT either... I'm coming from e90post (I had a AW e92 335i fully modded, which I'll introduce in my build thread) and have wanted an M3 for quite some time, so the wait until Nov. 1st is going to suck

Glad you're happy with them! Never had such a nagging customer before... lol.

I kid I kid! Can't wait to see these bolted up! You're going to have one hell of a long wait with them just sitting in your garage.

What are the offsets on those? What sized tires are you planning on?

They are ADV.1's aggressive/flush offsets (they don't release them). I'm going to run Nitto Invos --- 245/30/20's in the front and 295/25/20's in the rear (as per ADV.1's recommendations for perfect fitment with their offsets without rubbing at all, while lowered).

I didn't want a 25 series rear tire, but I sacrificed it for a wider rear (11" vs. 10.5" with a 30 series tire)
