How do you New Yorkers deal with Irene
.... are you hiding your baby further north or are you parking her in that over crowded high rise parking garage?
Hope you all find a safe place ... good luck fellow ///M drivers  Perhaps a road trip is in order leave a note on your desk saying ... gone fishing in Vermont call me when it's over any other ideas? ... again be safe whatever you do don't go surfing in the next 48 hours

Picked my baby Friday night, drove around for an hour and tucked her away into the garage, blocked it with sandbags and just hanging out at home, not bad at all so far. Cant wait until Monday so i can get back to my newly arrived toy.

It's 2:52 and it's raining like crazy. Watching it blow sideways. It's not the rain that bothers me it's the trees. We've had a lot of rain recently and I really don't like the idea of being smushed by a giant tree. Wife and dogs sleeping downstairs, my baby is in the garage with the other babies. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Moved the car from its dedicated space to the highest level of the garage in my building in Manhattan. Covered the car in case water starts dripping from above.

glad to see you fellows have all well under control in Manhattan lets all hope Irene does not like Manhattan all that much and move right back out to sea
I know how it all feels I run from Katrina AudiS5 ... I know you have fine garages in NYC some even attached to houses not like us poor Canadians we still have to build our own igloo garages, see there is a shortage of eskimos now that used to come down in the fall and build our igloo garages early in October, now we have to build our own and they just don't hold up that well.  here is mine from last year as I said did not turn out to good, for example when I make the opening larger for my ///m3 the entire contraption falls down I miss them eskimo master garage builders. No pun intended AudiS5 ... some of my American friends still think we live in igloos up here  so after reading your post I simply could not help myself, how goes it "the devil made me do it" something like that I hope you have a sense of humor cheers ... be safe
