bmw apps only for iphone?
i can't seem to get a definitive answer on this but it appears as if the bmw apps option is only for iphones? does anyone with more technical knowledge know if getting this option opens up any integration options with the car that an advanced programmer could leverage (specifically for android)? my brother has written numerous apps for android and i don't mind paying for the option if it would give me the option of doing something down the road.

Sucks..I have all of these menu items in the car and can't use any because I have an android.

Anyone hear anything more recent than this in regards to Android support? This is from July 2012 and said they will be out in July 2013...
