E93 rear light clusters

Hi all

If you have a look at the pictures, you'll see the right cluster has more space than the left, is this normal? Any ideas how to fix it if it isnt?

They can usually be adjusted slightly by loosening the nuts holding them on from the back, pushing the lights to where you want them and then tightening the nuts again.

Not a very large adjustment available, but usually a bit

E90Fleet, see you also from RSA
Had such a bad experience with BMW that I'm considering never buying one again. I posted this in BMWFanatics, someone replied that the bootlid needs to be realigned? Would you concur with this observation? The car recently went in for a warranty job on the roof, a cable snapped

I struggled with the same issue on my last e93, then I learned that these top/trunk components are adjusted by hand at the factory so they are bound to be slightly off from time to time. You can always adjust the lid but run the risk of it ending up worst than before or completely out of alignment. There are a TON of moving parts back there to make the mechanism work, keep that in mind
