SC specs: G-Power SK2 Clubsport rated at 600HP @ 8psi of boost (comes with standard carbon fiber airbox and additional track intake setup). the SC has 18K miles on it and recently got a new ASA T1-522 SC installed in June, so it’s basically a new kit.

Asking $9000 OBO
Labor is $1500.

Retail on the set-up is $19,000

Basis: M3 V8, 420 hp (309 kW)/400 Nm increased to 600 hp (441 kW)/580 Nm
consisting of:

Forced Induction: ASA T1-522 supercharger; supercharger lubrication through bypass from motor oil circuit; ultra stiff, weight optimized CNC shaped supercharger bracket system made from aluminium including an extended support aggregate belt drive for the supercharger’s drive.

Air Duct: Dual flow air intake box made from carbon fibre (double air filter system with twin RAM air intake tubes); CAD-FEM flow optimized boost recooling system consisting of an air duct made from aluminium cast, high capacity air-to-air intercooler made from aluminium cast in the car’s front and a large volume air box made from aluminium cast, including 8 integral resonance induction pipes, ensuring an optimal throttle response and a perfect torque curve; pneumatic controlled, engine load related boost control; boost level approx. 6 psi rel.

Engine Modification: 8 fuel injectors with enlarged mass flow; 8 colder racing spark plugs for an optimal ignition timing.

Fuel Management/Electronics: Custom made software for the standard BMW engine and DCG- transmission electronic control unit (BMW OBD stays completely untouched), enabling an unlimited top speed of max. 320 km/h (max. 330 km/h with DCG), according to the capacity of the tyres.

No, it wasn't toast.

Why would you wrongfully assume that?

You can ask other S/C owners, as I have seen this on ESS kits as well, that there will be oil around the S/C pipe area once in a while.
What my ESS friends have told me is this can be normal.

However, G Power offered to replace it for him free under warranty, even though he didn't ask for it, so he took them up on their offer. Who wouldn't take a free S/C?

$1500 is the labor to install it on your car.

My friend will cover the labor to take it off his own car as he doesn't feel it's fair for someone else to pay for work that will be done on his own vehicle.
