DCT fixed...
I posted in another thread the problem i was having with my DCT. Mainly i was getting a rough shift when shifting from 2-3rd gear only, and it didnt happen all the time. Anyways, after several visits to the dealer and leaving my car there for around a month, they finally fixed it. They first changed some controller unit which didnt work then they changed the dual clutch. They opened up my dct and replaced the clutch. I wasnt aware that it was possible and was expecting them to replace the transmission all together but i guess they can now order parts and fix parts as needed.
My car drives great again but it seems like the rev matches are not as aggressive as before. The shop foreman said its probably due to the software reprogramming. |

Yeah probably has to relearn your driving style before it gets back as before. Good news that they are now servicing DCTs though; should be good for the guys who's tranny's shit themselves post warranty.

I'd be interested to know the prices for the clutch changes. This will determine my warranty plans for the future.
