That was a loooooong write up...but entertaining as heck! It was fun to read and I laughed also. You wrote in a way that we were experiencing what you did. Have fun and drive safely. Thanks for serving our country. God Bless.

Thanks for all the comments. I had fun sitting down and writing it.
Just to follow up on the M button comment, the car doesn't only come alive when that is pushed, I know what the function of that button is. The car is great any day of the week, that merely tweaks it and takes it to another level, especially when the suspension settings and drivelogic are changed.

My car is also in the Atlantic, but due in Brunswick, Georgia TOMORROW. I am mentally prepared for another months wait (doing PCD) but cant help thinking about it all day long. Had no idea I could obsess so much about a car.

My car arrived in Brunswick 17 Aug and I got an email today offering 13 Sept for PCD if that gives you any idea of the current PCD wait. Unfortunately I can't make it that day so I'm waiting to see what the next available date will be.

Just imagine how much longer and more enthusiastic this write up would have been if OP was driving an E92 M3!
