BMW Roadside Assistance for BMW not under warranty?

Can you get BMW Roadside Assistance on a pre-owned BMW out of warranty?

Why would you want to though? I believe that they tow to the nearest BMW and not to a place of your liking if your car breaks down. Best bet is to just call BMW to find out first hand.

From their brochure.

"Towing service
If your vehicle should break down while covered
under warranty or require towing after an accident
or collision, it will be transported to the nearest
authorized BMW center".
