A Trackday video from Monday.

A little video from this weeks trackday. It was wet at one end so my line is a little strange in the bottom to use pavement with more grip.A remote mic should have been used!Shot with a Go-Pro HD.I was on my stock PS2's as I am waiting for a new set of Nitto NT05's.

Cool video!

Sounds like you had the "solid" back on your GoPro. Believe it or not the open one has less "noise" at speed.

Sweet video and nice driving. Any pointers for wet driving, looks like you've got it down

Truth. Learned the hard way, of course. Same car, same track day (same conditions) I tried both of the camera backs... The solid/closed one was horrible. I think the wind hits the back which makes an even worse static noise. It was so bad I just stripped the audio and put music on the video. Now I'll only use the closed one for water sports or skiing.

I'm thinking of getting a GoProHD. I thought they were mounted in the car, but I saw the wipers swinging below the camera and what appears to be part of the roof in front of the camera. So do these mount on top of the roof of the car? If so how do you fasten it on up there?

I always mounted mine inside the car. There is a suction cup mount as well as other mounting attachments. I personally would not use the suction cup mount on the exterior of the car. At a recent track day one came off a car a caused a few thousand dollars damage to the Z06 behind it.
