Its gonna be hit or miss with any used M3 as they are an enthusiast car. Do your research on any year you pick and don't shy away from an 08 if its low miles and been treated right.

April 2008 build date, 6MT, 43k miles, drive it very spirited, every day, every season. Bought the car used at 12k miles back in Dec 2009. Plan on driving the crap out of the car for a long time with no purchased warranty/maintenance plans. It helps I'm a mechanical/electrical engineer though so will be doing all maintenance/repairs myself.

LOVE THIS CAR.

That's about the same timing as my car. March build got it jan of 09 with 7500 miles but I only have 19000 now.

Looks like we're optioned pretty similar as well! If not for the fact I've taken a bunch of 10 hour road trips in the M3 I'd prob be around 19k as well, I just don't want to drive anything else.

I'm thinking about a cross country drive here at the end of summer but not sure I wanna put on the miles.

I highly recommend taking a trip like that and stop off at different points to document with pics. This car is such a great tourer, you can log 600-700 miles with ease and when I get bored I'll just drop it into third and wail on it to pass semis. My wife just laughs at me.

sounds fun just hate to put 4000 miles on in one shot that usually like a whole years worth of driving but i would be able to get one more factory oil change in before my warranty expires, kind of dumb reasoning though as the gas and other costs would be way higher than the 250 for an oil change.

25k, no major issues, lease is up in feb and still flip-flopping on what to do. If I buy it out, tempted not to buy a extended warranty since I do not much tons of miles on and have not had any issues(knock on wood)

looks like this one is dead final results look like most are keeping their 08s and driving them forever without warranty. i plan to keep mine and see what the next generation has to offer and maybe put it alongside my current M in the garage. if that doesnt work maybe a nice p car! GT3 anyone.
