BMW trunk badge replacement

I just bought the all black bmw emblems and thought the installation would be fairly simple, the front badge just popped right off but the badge on the trunk was not coming off. After a lot of hard work i got the badge off and realized that the emblem had a sticky material on it, something I had never seen on any other bmw badge, so i tried to put the all black badge on and it would not fit properly, it would just slide off. I used double sided tape and stuck it on but you can see the tape and dont like how it looks... any tips or similar problems?

is it the roundel youre talking about ?
if it is, there are two options, sometimes there are those small rubbers that sits on the tips so when you push it in it fits in with a bit of pressure. the other thing is that you bought cheap made ones.
i bought cheap ones on ebay and sent them right back because they dont fit right.
