Best way is to use vht nightshade , clean light then spray even coats waiting 10 minutes between coats ( 4 max) then let dry for atleast 4 hours then either take to body shop for clear coat or clear urself (2 to 3 coats) allow to dry over night then install

Drill a little hole in each one. Blow some maryjo in it and quickly plug the hole.

Yeh, but it's fun trying, isn't it? You just have to try again and again and again.

Here is another thread, why would you want that...

it looks so tacky to tint the tails...

Why would want that... Do other MODs just leave the tails alone...

Don't do it but if you dooo. My body shop uses a mixture of clear coat and black paint. It's very glossy and depending on how dark you want it determines the amount of coats. no matter how dark they all seemed to let the light shine through very well. Look into that

Suugest that you try to smoke something else. Most plastics when burned created toxic gases.

Just as these "don't smoke your tails" comments came on cue, this will be the one telling you to ignore them and do what you want– its your car blah blah blah...

Just repeatedly light up your rear tires. That should do the trick.

I don't see the attraction of "smoking tail lights", after all, you are making them less brighter. I would be worried that if I was rear ended the other person could pursue legal action that you have illegally darken your tail lights.
