congrats man. Enjoy your new car. Seriously guys, I have many friends that own GTR's and make as much moolah as me, they are really not that hard to obtain. I have a friend who purchased one slightly used for 60k-ish a year ago. Brand new they are in the 6 figures but heck, if I lived at home with no bills a GTR would be sitting in my driveway next to my lotus exige LOL

you don't have to be rich to own a gtr..

Youth is truly wasted on the young. Imagine what the right investing strategy could do for a 19 year old putting the money away. This decision could literally costs you hundreds of thousands when you retire.

It's not every day you can save a wad of money. Life gets more expensive the longer you live. I work for a Fortune 100 company with some seriously smart people. Still, I can't tell you how many colleagues I have that make more than $100k/year still can't save $1,500/month. They have kids, a mortgage, and a wife...It's just hard to do so you should do it while you can!

Admittedly, I am a nerd and always have been. I've never been like most kids my age. In 2000, I got a job at Walmart the day I turned 16 and made $9.50/hr and a $1 more on Sundays. Doesn't sound like much, but this was over 11 years ago and I took home over $1,200/month after taxes. I could have afforded a GTR too (except they weren't made then), but the point remains. Instead, I saved the money and even just 11 years later, I can tell you it was the best decision of my life. I saved diligently for almost 2 years and opened my first IRA in in 2002 (when I went to college to major in finance) and a brokerage account to have somewhere to put my cash that was quickly growing. I still thank my parents and professors for helping me. The Dow was in the 7,500-8,000 range when I bought an index mutual fund that paid a dividend I had auto re-invest. I'd have to do a complete spreadsheet to get the actual figures, but I can tell you that initial investment has well more than doubled.

Patience is a virtue and Mom and Dad won't pay the bills forever. I beg of you...take full advantage of earning some decent money and not having bills. IT WILL NEVER BE THAT WAY AGAIN!! Sure, you might earn more, but life gets exponentially more expensive.

However, there certainly isn't anything wrong with buying something you like; I just honestly think you'll regret it when you're older/wiser. Plus, my parents wouldn't have let me buy a car like that and continue to pay the bills for me. They would have told me I was a moron and that I needed to do the right thing while they were helping me. Buying this car really isn't a good decision, but it will be cool.

/rant

Just trying to give you a different perspective. Maybe it won't work. It's thought Ablert Einstein once said, "compound interest is the most powerful force in the universe." He might have been right.

BOOM! This.

buy yourself all the gold you can, youngster.

also, shame on you for profiting off of copyright infringement. it's one thing to robin hood the shit, but it's another to buy yourself a gtr with it.

Honestly I'm jealous cause when I was 19 I wasn't even close to a BMW let alone a GTR. But ya know what? Props to you and I guess it just comes down to the saying.. "everyday I'm hustling..".

Enjoy the ride!

no bills what so ever besides my cell phone.. yes i actually pay for that
monthly income? 1800-2500ish ( up to 3000 or more if its the holidays) a month. Yeah its not much i know, but if your living at home with absolutely no bills, you can afford a GTR easily.

Call me spoiled or whatever i don't care, i know im paying for this so thats all that matters, and yeah i still live with daddy and quite frankly... i dont care haha..

but yeah if you guys need anything iPhone/PS3/XBOX360/Wii/DS/PSP related ( Mods & repairs ) shoot me a PM. This is what i have been doing since i turned 17. Its really not that hard. Craigslist helps a lot too, i guess you can say i have a small business from craigslist, and sell a lot on eBay and iOffer, never have to leave my house either, love it, i've never
had a "real" job.

oh and i didn't even graduate high school, i took a test for my GED and left school a year or so early, then just chilled at home making some money, so no bonuses for graduating haha, because i didn't

and yes i will POST PICS as soon as i get it!

Real winner here

& on spending all your income on a car payment. You'll be living at home for a loooooooooooooong time.

+1 couldn't agree more save your money and invest. In a few years your car will be old, Where as if you invest and make more money youll buy a house or condo, which is always a better investment than a car..since a car pretty much will always only lose value.. i regreted spending my money that i made in the forex market on my 335 6 months ago when i turned 16, but hey were young and want to have the best cars i got my GED as well when i was 15 though and started college early (finance major), if your out of high school you should start college instead of hustling a few bucks now fixing xbox's, think long term.. anyhow if you decide to get your car enjoy it the GTR is one hell of a car.

See, this is the problem. He's spending most of the money he earns on a car payment. People will view him as "husslin" and "smart" but it's really just the opposite.

Thank god it's a GTR, congrats.
I'm not saying it's a smart move but hey we all made unreasonable decisions, when we were young.
Enjoy the new ride!

Life is short, enjoy yourself while you are here.
Save, invest blah blah blah, just dont get married, so you dont have to answer to no one but yourself.
