GOP Lawmaker Caught Setting Up Gay Rendezvous

Quote:
Emails shared with the Indianapolis Star suggest that Indiana state Rep. Phillip Hinkle (R) -- responding to a local posting on Craigslist -- offered a young man $80 plus tip to spend time with him Saturday night at a local hotel.

Said one email: "Cannot be a long time sugar daddy, but can for tonight. Would you be interested in keeping me company for a while tonight?"

The emails, sent from Hinkle's publicly listed personal address, ask the young man for "a couple hours of your time tonight" and offer him cash up front, with a tip of up to $50 or $60 "for a really good time."

According to the Evansville Courier & Press, Hinkle voted earlier this year for a constitutional gay marriage ban and his official bio says he's married with two children.

Heck, Rep. Phillip Hinkle (R) doesn't want to marry the young man. He just wants to do his thing and leave the boy dripping with Santorum, leave a stack of 20's on the dresser and never see him again. So how could voting against gay marriage be hypocritical?

Now he's going to have go all the way to Iowa to get Michelle Bachman to pray his gay away.

He should call Bawney for some coaching. Look how long he's been a successful politician. And he doesn't dick around, he goes straight to the professionals. No craigslist amateurs for him!

You miss the point. Nobody on the left gives a damn that Hinkle or "Bawney" are gay. The issue is that Hinkle openly OPPOSES gays, and supports anti-gay gov't policies, while being gay himself. "Bawney" is open and honest about his sexuality.

It's the hypocracy, stupid. Not their actual gender attraction.

Actually it's hypocrisy, stupid. And given your penchant for tedious and minute point scoring at the expense of the larger issues, it's easy to miss your point.

It wasn't hypocrisy when Bawney engaged a prostitute in violation of the laws he is sword to uphold?
