Some guys attempt to prove a point backfires

I find this as funny as it is awkward. Some guy with something to prove goes walking around with an unloaded firearm on his hip with the hope of provoking an incident with the police. In the end the guys just ends up looking like a douche.

What was he trying to prove, and why would he bother uploading this?

Thumbs up

That was actually a pretty good LEO encounter, from what I saw in the vid.

Open Carry is legal in every state and you are not required to purchase some (BS, imho) "permit" nor "license" to enjoy it. (basically, just be 18, not a felon, and avoid federal property) The dumbest thing though is to walk around with an unloaded firearm. At that point it's an expensive hammer, bullet bait and a shitty rock for throwing. But, to each their own...

If you had better things to do, then why are you surfing the internet to begin with?

He was out to film a police officer violating his rights so he could post it on youtube to make a point. Obviously that didn't happen and the guy (Jeremy) ended up looking like a jackass.

Is that a 2nd Amendment commentary or something completely out of "you dont know WTF you're talking about" book? I hope the former.

What I don't understand is that the event apparently took place at Oceanside, CA. According to the interwebs, you are only allowed to open carry in a CA county with a population 200k or less. Oceanside is in San Diego County with populations in a few millions. How was that legal?

I dont know what he was trying to prove, but, he did prove that there are cops, good cops who know how to use their brain and turn an issue in to harmless none issue.

OC legal in every state? Negative ghostrider.

Also, +1 for that police officer. Good dude.
