Two cars to consider would be the M3 GTS and the just-unveiled C63 AMG Black Series Coupe. 4.4l vs 6.2l V8, 450hp vs 517hp, 1605kg vs (est) 1710kg. Unlike the M3 GTS, the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe will be available in the US starting Spring 2012.

An even better comparison would be to have some shots of the C63 AMG BS with the track package. Unfortunately there aren't many photos of it floating around and MB hasn't released any press shots of it, but here are a couple of teasers.

The Benz received a much more unique treatment and looks more special imo.

Benz. I don't think the GTS is that much different than the regular M3 for me to take over the BS.

benz def looks meaner. They put more exclusive body work on it. The GTS is just a regular m3 with a chicken WANG. But i bet the gts will win around a track.

I for one doesn´t give a damn about what looks best.
I´m more of a form follows function kinda guy.

Merc can produce whatever they want, for me BMW knows the formula nobody else knows or even takes the time to look into.

I thought the Red BS looked good except that it kinda looked like an accord coupe but that white BS is pure sex! I am sad to say that I would take the white BS over the GTS. PLUS.... The BS still has a stereo and other creature comforts.

The people who put together the GTS definitely underachieved...that's the bottom line. I'm expecting the BS to blow it out of the water in terms of numbers

Btw, the BS cost about 21k euros less than the GTS. I think that's a pretty big price difference...

Agreed, those extra 200 pounds are gonna kill the merc against the bmw. Obviously the merc is a lot more flamboyant but the bmw is more refined. I see the merc as some cocky teenager while the bmw is more of a seasoned vet. Who will you place your bet on?

Shittt that C63BS looks amazing in white. I know you don't buy these cars for their designs exactly but the GTS looks terrible IMO. I hate Fire Orange. The BS on the other hand

I want to see it in black and grey too.
