Guys

My Admiral renewal has just come through the letterbox, gone up just under £200.

Any suggestions who else to try?

If you've got a tracker, try LV, they were cheapest for me.

They did the same to me - call them, tell them you've got a cheaper quote and they'll probably reduce it. They just put it up in the hope that you'll just renew.

Like you, my Admiral renewal quote was more expensive - double in my case! So I went with Aviva this year. with cashback through TopCashBack, I got it for £460 fully comp protected - same as I paid Admiral last year.

Admiral quoted me £300 more than last year. Call them up ... they just quote a silly price in their renewals and hope you will just renew!

I called them up and they reduced the price by £300

Just filled in an online quote with Aviva, only to be told they couldn't offer me cover. Never had that with any company before.

try heritage Insurance ...go online then if you not happy with the online quotation just do not proceed any further, after a day they will email you or ring you with a better quotation ....had that done afew time with them ...and they always better the quote online !!

Well I went online and did a compare the meerkat and elephant were the cheapest so spoken to admiral and they matched it, should hope so as they are the same company.

Simples !
