When its cold and just started the only way I can describe it is similar (but obviously not as loud) is a cammed Z06. That goes away once its warm but it definitely sounds like it has more bit at start up than when warm.

OT by why is it on the E92 in this video, when you apply the brakes, it looks like 2LED strips in each taillight light up?

I've only seen 1 light in each LCI taillight light up when the brake is applied.

Did you modify something in the wiring or is that something that is required in PR?

I think both strips normally light up under braking.
Here you can see both of the LED strips:

quiet, the stock exhaust note on a m3 while idling is actually pretty shitty for a car with such great history and reputation. 335 or the 335is has a louder idling exhaust note. Im pretty disappointed with my m3's stock exhaust note. Im getting new exhaust system soon.
