Thank you schnell325 & ilidon! is there a section of this forum where I can find used parts for my M3, I heard someone tell me that some people take off their aftermarket exhaust's and other accessories before they turn their lease in then sell them on this forum?

The exciting part is that I already hit my 1200 mile mark in two weeks. Drove to San Diego and back, and of course joy driving. Just got it back from the dealer; they drained all the fluids: engine oil, transmission fluid, etc then replaced it with new oil. Apparently all the fluids in the car are temporary till you get the 1200 mile service.

Thank you schnell325 for the link!

I have to say that it feels alittle wiered that I got my 2011 14 months ago but others are still buying 2011!!!! Car companies need to respect the calendar year..a 2011 should be only sold 1/1/2011-12/31/2011
a model year doesn't mean anything these days.

Thanks guys! Sameh - I hear you man, the 2013 models are coming in 2012.. I dont get it lol Whatever works for them I guess.

PhillyNate - Congrats on your E92! How do you love it??

6MT is definitely the way to go. I figured if I get SMG, the car will be just another automatic fast car.. theres an emotional bond with the 6MT

Congrats Gaurav! Nice to see fellow Desi M3 drivers on here.

I'll be ordering my E92 Melbourne Red M3 sometime in August so depending on build month my car could either be 2011 or 2012.

100% agree with you. I'll add to what you're saying and say that based on my own experiences with having my steptronic (auto) tranny fail on my 323i (wound up doing a tranny swap to 5MT), I'll never again buy a tranny other than a manual tranny. They are more reliable and less expensive to fix if something were to go wrong.

The car is beyond belief. To think, I was looking for certified 911's also. I doubt I would have been more pleased than this. Especially at service time.
Oh and yes, I got a 6MT.

PhillyNate - Dont even think about a 911 and M3 at the same given second, they are two different vehicles all together lol
