I was getting 10.9L/100km on my e46 M3 Cabriolet.

I get 12.7L/100km on my E92 M3 Coupe.

To put it another way, I got about 520km to a tank on the E46. I am getting about 400-420km with the E92, if I drive like an old lady. So, no, the E92 isn't even close to being as efficient much less more efficient than the E46.

How the hell do you get 12.7? The best I've ever done is 14.7. Do you drive in D2 or D3 mode all the time?

In mostly city driving, I get 20L/100km. I'll be lucky to get 320km out of a tank. On the highway, at 100kph I've gotten 10L/100km or roughly 650km.
