So who's going in as the favorite to win?

I've been playing golf off and on for the last few years
and have really taken interest in it the last year or so.

I had the opportunity to play at Torrey Pines yesterday and was amazed by that course being that it's a municipal court.

I dunno.

Read a good article talking about a conversation Jack initiated with him recently. Jack stated that he won more of his majors from people giving them away versus him actually beating guys.

If Rory has a big lead again and can recognize that he can afford to make a bogey here and there he could be ok versus the implosion with big numbers he made at the Masters.

Apparently they talked specifically about 10. For example, had Rory just punched out sideways from the Butler cabins he could have likely made 5 and saved 2 strokes AND kept his composure/momentum over the final holes.

^^i want him to win, he deserves it. I like seeing kuchar up there as well he is solid. Yang did work also. Now the course starts getting tough. Saturday's set up will be tough, def going to be interesting to watch can't wait!

Closing note, I hated to see Els struggle so bad today. Bummer he missed the cut.

Btw Jimmy...like I mentioned in another thread...standing offer to play one of the best courses in the world that I got in at this year.

wow very impressive! now i just have to figure out how to get to canada! My home course is La Purisima golf course.

who knows one of these days i might actually take you up on that offer
