Look up some videos of WSIR with data acquisition. If I recall, a stock E46 M3 was able to go through turn 1 at 85-90mph. You don't need to get on the binders that hard for turn 1. It really depends on when and where you get on the brakes, and how much of the exit to turn 1 you use. When I know I did turn 1 right, is when it basically feels like I only used enough brakes to get the weight to shift up front, and I'm right back on the throttle as soon as I turn in.

There is a TON of speed to be had through turn 1. Trust me on this one.

Then why do you have $3,000 worth of suspension mods on your car?

I did! I went off the track at probably 90mph! it was exciting...the benz is a pig and understeers quite a bit so I just straightened out and went off...I kept trying to push my braking zones deeper and well when I went to turn in the car wasnt having it. I know the turn has a bit of a bank to it so it should be able to be taken fast but my original point was braking from 135 to say 85 for the turn would at least be considered moderate braking dont u think?

I have seen plenty of videos of car's at Big Willow. Still don't see that happening.

The Lotus below is carrying 130ish MPH in the straight and slows down substantially to negotiate turn 1. When i went into turn 1 at 100 MPH, he said i was going in far too hot, and it was apparent on my first run. Car was losing it and I had to manage and accept the fact that the car couldn't do it, so I let her go off line and onto the shoulder a bit. I didn't force it back into line, if I would have, it would have been bad.
