Great weather brought out a great group of ///M enthusiasts to the Houston ///M Club Meet & Greet in Sugar Land.

i cant pm you because im a new member to the forum. can you email me the Hi res pics of the pics you took of my car and my family? my car is the silverstone blue sedan. i was with my kids and wife....

. I see I am going to have to make a guest visit at Houston Cars & Coffee on Saturday March 3rd in order to catch some of you members. My son has a track meet that day. I will be in the Houston area again that weekend

Nice meet, and the weather was perfect!! I don't even have an E92 yet, but the mod wish list grew even longer yesterday.

What are the details on this? Ash tray replaced with an ipod linked into the radio.

I'll let Bluemonde come in here and explain better. But this thing was sweet. He did the installation himself. Basically, it's a jail-broken iPhone 4 with a data plan, that is connected to the Modmynav.com interface module using a 30-pin dock connector to Audio/Video RCA banana plugs. Whatever is displayed on the iPhone 4, will show up on the Navi screen. Since he has data plan enabled, he has the phone connected to streaming music apps (Pandora, etc.) that will play through his car's speakers. All his music album artwork was displayed in the Navi screen when he had music running.

The phone gets power from the car so that it charges when the car is on.

Since it has the power of a jail-broken iPhone 4, you can imagine the capabilities. You could use the iPhone's map program if you hate BMW's navigation, use it to search the web.

He said he's not done finalizing it yet as he's trying to figure out how to get the OEM ash tray door cover back on.

What I think would be pretty sweet if he could set it up to where it automatically flips up at a 45 deg angle tilt when opened, for easier typing and navigating through the iPhone's menus.

I'm into multimedia, I have MY08 Nav and spending 4K for an upgrade (MY09+) and to be limited to "many options" didnt justify the 4K.
4K can buy me alot of CF!!!

the project is not done, Once I finish it I will post pics and videos.
I'm looking for an OEM look with a CF touch.
