This is all speculation. I can't beleive some of you folks are making car purchase decisions based on the speculation you read on here.

As I was driving home today in my 9 year old E36 M3. I was thinking, I'm going to miss this car when I get my E92 M3. I guess I'll get to drive the old one a little bit longer. Besides, it gives me more time to increase my downpayment on the new one.

I'm still betting on the 6 speed available in Sep/Oct and the DSG available in the spring of '08.

My dealer recently emailed me the following response:

"We do not know yet when the M3 will be available. But the convertible should be here in a month."

I was speakig to my service advisor this morning at the dealership and they had just had BMW USA on site all last week and she confirmed that the new M3 will not be available until the end of 2008.
