the CDV. Could you write up the difference in feel and use as a comparison test pls?

You'll only invalidate the clutch not the car, by removing the CDV. Some dealers are very friendly and don't mine certain mods.

I'm looking at doing mine.

The best thing to do is buy a new one and then remove the insides, before fitting it to the car - the dealer would never know it was missing and if you had any clutch issues you would need to possibly swap it back.

Do a search, pretty sure I have seen a DIY on turning a CDV into an empty shell

These may help?

I've been reading some more posts on the US section of this site whereby it is stated that there is no CDV on the E92 M3. The section of tubing is hollow.

Can your friend confirm is this is true or not? Can he confirm where he got the mod or did he do it himself? Ta.

I have no first hand advice on this, just passing along a link to another view from someone who says the CDV appears to be empty on the E92 M3.

Clutch Pedal Spring Removal

You could try removing the Clutch Pedal Spring - It takes a couple of minutes and IMO it transforms the feel of the clutch, you're able to feel the bite point much better.

From the DIY - http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195777

Has anyone been able to confirm if the e9x M3s do or do not have the CRVs?

No CDV for E9x M3 confirmed. The pipe is there but it's hollow.

The OP might have clutch / flywheel issues - suggest visit to dealer.
