JB Speed Carbon Fiber High Kick Spoiler Install

I haven't seen too much on here (or I didn't try hard enough) on the JBSPEED high kick carbon fiber spoiler. I purchased one out the door about 8 days ago for $240 shipped. I was skeptical at first, but after receiving it yesterday and installing it, I am very impressed and for the price it is great!

It is a 2x2 CF pattern (just like OEM) and its fitment is identical to the OEM one *i measured.

I did it with two other buddies just to cut the prep time down. We removed the original spoiler with a hair dryer and some fishing line, warming up the 3M tape and removing it as we went along. As you can see from the picture below, there was some residue left behind so we grabbed Goo Gone and some rags to get rid of the reminder. I'm impressed with the final result, and if anyone is looking to get a CF spoiler for half the price, this is the way to go.

Did you use the double sided tape provided?

I did and it is not as close or 'tight' to the decklid as I expected. I don't know if the tape is just too thick, or if that is the correct outcome.

It's hard to tell from your pictures. Is it fairly flush?
