How did you arrange for an instructor?

I just spent 2 days there mostly hoping the track went the way I thought it would.

I imagine as time goes, you get more addicted to it. I already miss it and considering a permanent move to Germany.

Cool...I'm sure you learn a lot faster with someone experienced riding with you.

If I can move to Germany (army)...I will definitely hire some help to learn. I did 12 laps and I was still guessing quite a bit. I think I know which way about 1/3 of the track goes.

Watch someone on youtube do 830 lap times and follow them...ok bad, not so much follow but watch the lines and then cross reference with someone that you know is doing the lines better. Hell, just watch theperson who is doing the lines the correct way.

Youtube Hans Stuck m3 GTR and watch his video, I have seen it over 25 times, and my pants get wet each time.

Nice times, the best I could manage was just under 8:50 with my M3. Not bad considering I ran less than ten laps. Great track, can't wait to get back.

While VIR is a great track, it doesn't hold a candle to The Ring.
