Lightweight battery advice

Current battery is on its way out so I'm looking to replace with something lighter.

I use th car solely for track and I could / would put it on trickle charge when not in use. My car still has air con, sat nav and radio. Though I tend only to air con on track and radio / nav on route to track.

What aH, Crank etc do I need? I'm in the UK and not really prepared to pay anything above 200, say $350.

Many thanks.

Thank you. Mini / Z4 battery still isnt light enough IMO (14kg or so?) whereas there are batteries sub 10kg within my budget but I am still unsure of what to buy.

Is there a minimum CCA and Ah I can get away with?

I switched to a R59 Mini Battery. Saves about 20 pounds. I know people who tried some of the other lighweight batteries but they kept dying.

Would this work? Says it has a cranking capacity of 850 but says CCA 170 on label.

I wouldn't go any smaller than an Oddyssey PC680 unless you want to be a battery babysitter.

Does that mean always on charge when not in use or will it cause me trouble when using car at track? This is a dedicated track car remember so no biggie if it needs a jump start at beginning of day but I don't want to be stranded should I stall going through the gates!
