It is a very nice feature but I do not understand why there is no way to disable or enable it at will.
Some people block the sensor on the rear view mirror but then it is always off.

I fabricated a little mechanical device that allows me to bock and unblock the sensor.

Very low tech but effective.

I have an 08 m3 and the pass mirror is always dark even during the day its bad at night can't see a whole lot i think it's broke
