M3 GTS, E90 M3 Ring Taxi and Veyeron sighting!

Over the weekend, I saw an E92 M3 GTS...2 of them, E46 M3 CSL...2 of them, a 1M Coupe...2 of them. Almost every color of E9X M3s (Interlagos blue, red, black, Jerez Blk, white, silverstone, frozen gray, space gray)...I think the only color I missed was LeMans blue. Of course, my Monte Carlo Blue "Ring Plug" was representing!

Here are some other interesting sightings from other makes...

Bugatti Veyron
MB SLS
Every kind of Porshe (GT2, GT3RS...996 & 997)
Ferrari F430
Ferrari F458 Italia (or the one with the 3 tail pipes)
The entire AMG line that I could remember
RS4 Wagon...I want it!
Vette Z06

The story on the Veyeron. I was heading out from the 'Ring to drive around and warm up the car for my next lap. I see a Veyeron oncoming. I do a quick U-turn to try and snap a pic. Its gone. So I start my lap, I see it in front of the stands near the start out the corner of my eye.

Then I'm walking up to Wieseifen and I hear a roar. I run up the steps, ITS THE VEYERON! I try to snap a pic real quick. I got it...you can see a small orange spec in the trees.

I swear I saw it!

Enough banter, here are some of the pics I took.

Actually, I own the new Ring taxi...if you get on your hands and knees and beg...I might give you a ride

I guess if you can afford a GTS...you can afford to go to the 'ring constantly. It was raining today...a lot. I'd be way too scared to drive it on the ring.

Thanks for the writeup and pics. Must have been a blast. This picture really cracks me up. I'm sure one of the GTS owners must have been thinking as he pulled into the lot, "I love my car. It's rare and orange and at the pinnacle of the M3 heap and it'll be cool to show it off and...Oh, Sh!t!...there's another one just like mine!" I swear it happens around here (Long Island, NY) on any given Sunday when guys take their 458 Italias, etc., out for a spin just to see themselves a few blocks later. Oh, well...

Might be true...one didn't stay very long. Not sure if it was because of your theory or the rain.

Thanks...ED has been awesome. Barring a car crash on my way to dropping off my car or a plane crash.

You should get a job in Europe...its x1,000,000 better than Korea. Plus, the Germany Army doesn't shoot at you when you are flying in.
