I've ridden in 911/GT3 but never driven one on the track. But I do know that my car is doing similar lap times at MSRH as a GT3 now.

op, thanks for the response. glad to hear that a well modified m3 can give the gt3 a run for its money. btw, bmw scored another victory at long beach (american le mans). thats 2 for 2 this season!

Still trying to decide... depends on whether I want to build my car for SCCA next year.

Most likely first a half cage that can be retrofitted to be a full SCCA-legal cage later on.

Motons are holding up great. In the suspension world you get what you pay for I suppose. I also just received some upgrades for my current system. Hopefully it will further reduce body roll and control the platform so that the car can be ready for competition use.

Red diffuser sounds like a great idea
