E92 and 93 are different my friend

With the top closed, it's the same as stock pretty much, I can only tell if I realllllly smell for it lol.

Only when the top is open and I'm sitting in traffic do I smell it (mild, but I have a keen sense of smell).
Or if I'm reving like crazy. Then well, it's expected lol

Unless you want to join the Exhaust slut club!

-kit, who is on his ~12th exhaust combo, which was the same as his 7th (I think, need to go back and look at the list)

I just installed the Turner test pipes on my M3 with Eisenmann Race exhaust. I was afraid it was going to be raspy, but the sound came out perfect! The car became fairly louder, but the sound is amazing! It sounds less muffled without being too raspy. Also, theres a slight howl to it which i love.

As for the power, I didn't test it because its a really hot and humid day here and theres traffic everywhere. I'll test it in a few hours and be back to write my impressions.

So, Anyone looking for more power and a more exotic sound, I think these are really worth it!

Did you get the software as well of just the pipes?

Just the pipes. The Installer put on O2 sensor spacers as they might keep the CEL off. He said they worked on GTRs, but is not sure if it will keep the CEL off on the m3.

If you can't take any louder, this setup is definitely not for you. I'll still post up a video soon.

I took a quick video of the new setup. In the video it sounds more raspy than it really is. Sounds amazing in real life. Also the power bump is noticeable, even without a tune. My tires now chirp when they wouldn't before in this heat.

Here is my old video of Eisenmann Race only:

And the new one with Eisenmann Race + Turner Test pipes:

With the spacers did the CEL light come on yet. I have these but didn't install them as I didn't think they would work.

I have an OBD 2 CANBUS reader and I don't mind resetting the SES light every few thousand miles or so. Now it comes on within 50 miles.

If a spacer can at least buy sometime between resets, it could be worth it.

Greg the car runs fine, like a scalded dog. The AFE Stg.2 intake and the TTPs make this car just ROAR. I do feel there can be some fine tuning with software. The stock muffler sounds pretty darn good with just the TTPs, not as aggressive at low revs as I would like but at high rpm's the car screams. It does have a hint of rasp.

Has anyone dyno'd their car after install the TTPs? I am looking into a tune (ESS, Evolve, or OE) with the TTPs and want to compare it to a challenge X pipe with tune.

Thanks

The light still didn't come on, I will let you know when it does. I drove 110 miles after install so far and no light.

As you can see, with Eisenmann Race there is little to no rasp.

Vibrant Performance O2 Sensor Spacer

http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/A...or-Spacer.html

It seems like the general consensus is that O2 spacers don't work on our M3's. I thought it was worth a try atleast..and i'm hoping they are wrong.

After how many miles does the CEL usually appear after removing primary cats?

when removing cats even mine every reset it shows up 40-80 miles i guess it depends on time and day... mine showed up right on 40 when it was freakin hot. so not sure if that made a difference.

thanks for the info. ill try to order one

By any chance would you happen to know if i need to look for a certain one just curious if they are the same thread.

Hoping DAVE will see this thread i know he hates the light as well. let us know if it comes up soon. i heard some shows up after 300-500 miles.
